Schools in Selangor to Close Tomorrow Except in Hulu Selangor, Sabak Bernam

PETALING JAYA: All schools under the administration of the Klang, Kuala Selangor, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat, Gombak, Sepang, Petaling Perdana and Petaling Utama District Education Offices (PPD) will be closed tomorrow.

The closures follow Air Pollutant Index (API) readings in the affected areas approaching 200, indicating very unhealthy air quality.

The Selangor State Education Department (JPN) said schools under the administration of the Hulu Selangor and Sabak Bernam District Education Offices will operate as usual.

“However, all outdoor activities in both districts are prohibited.

“Parents, guardians, students and the entire education community are advised to take note of this announcement and refer to JPN Selangor’s official channels for the latest updates,” the department said.
