Terengganu Inc Records Highest-Ever Revenue of RM2.01 Billion in 2025
KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu Incorporated Sdn Bhd (Terengganu Inc) recorded its highest-ever revenue since its establishment, reaching RM2.01 billion in 2025, a 15 per cent increase from RM1.75 billion in the previous year.
The performance was supported by its core business clusters comprising plantations, oil and gas, and healthcare, which contributed about 78 per cent of the group’s total revenue, alongside growth in the infrastructure, construction and tourism sectors.
Terengganu Inc also recorded a profit before tax (PBT) of RM176.4 million, an increase of 116 per cent compared with 2024, while profit after tax (PAT) surged to RM106.2 million from RM42.2 million previously.
The PAT was the company’s highest in 12 years, reflecting stronger operational efficiency and effective cost optimisation.
To strengthen future growth, Terengganu Inc, through its subsidiaries, is also driving several strategic investments, including the RM3.1 billion Kemaman Port expansion project, which is expected to increase the port’s capacity from 12 million metric tonnes to 30 million metric tonnes annually.
The RM6 billion Kerteh Terengganu Industrial Park (KTIP) is also being developed as a hub for the biopolymer and bio-based chemical industries.
In the renewable energy sector, the company is developing a 595 MWac Hybrid Hydro Floating Solar Photovoltaic (HHFS) project at Tasik Kenyir, valued at RM1.96 billion, in collaboration with TNB Power Generation Sdn Bhd.
Terengganu Inc is also expanding its involvement in the oil and gas exploration sector through collaborations with Petronas Carigali, Ping Petroleum and EnQuest, with a participating interest in PSC PM6/12 effective Jan 1, 2027.
The participation marks the state’s first involvement in a production sharing contract (PSC), further strengthening Terengganu’s role in the national energy value chain.
In the tourism sector, the integrated development of Pulau Poh at Tasik Kenyir under the Primula by The Lake brand is also being strengthened to enhance the area’s appeal as a major tourism destination and stimulate the local economy.
At the same time, the Terengganu Inc Group contributed RM16.25 million towards various corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives throughout 2025, covering community development, education, sports, welfare and environmental sustainability.
Terengganu Inc Group President and Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Burhanuddin Hilmi Mohamed@Harun said the achievement demonstrated the company’s ability to attract large-scale strategic investments to drive the diversification of the state’s economy.
He said Terengganu Inc would continue implementing strategic initiatives to support the state’s aspiration of becoming an integrated economic growth hub, while ensuring that the benefits of development are shared with the people.
