Rosni Zahari named Pahang Women Icon 2026

JERANTUT: Umno Women’s Information Chief Datuk Rosni Zahari was named Pahang Women Icon 2026 in conjunction with the 2026 National Women’s Day celebration at state level today.

Rosni, who is also Maran Umno Women’s chief and Pahang Umno Women’s deputy chief, received the award from Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail at a ceremony held at the Advanced Technology College (ADTEC) Jerantut Campus.

She described the recognition as a great honour and expressed her gratitude to Allah for the award.

“Alhamdulillah, I am grateful to Allah for being named Pahang Women Icon 2026 today,” she said.

Rosni said the achievement was not solely the result of her own efforts, but was made possible through the support of the Maran Umno Women’s team as well as the information and media teams of Umno Women Malaysia.

“This award is not the result of my efforts alone, but the result of teamwork with the Maran Women’s team and the information and media teams of Umno Women Malaysia,” she said.

She also expressed her appreciation to Wan Rosdy, the Women’s Development Department and the people of Pahang for placing their trust in her.

“Thank you to Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy, the Women’s Development Department and the people of Pahang for this trust. Thank you, Tok Wan,” she said.
