Zahid invites all Muslims to show concern and love in every practice

KUALA LUMPUR: The Deputy Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, invited all Muslims in the country to show concern and love for fellow human beings in conjunction with the Aidiladha celebration, tomorrow.

Berita Harian reported, through the sacrifice, he said, Muslims not only carry out religious orders but also help those in need together.

In conjunction with that glorious day, he said, everyone should be determined to strengthen ties with family, friends and the local community.

“Alhamdulillah, we have once again been given the opportunity by Allah SWT to celebrate Hari Raya Aidiladha, a day full of meaning and blessings in the Islamic calendar.

“Aidiladha is not just a day of celebration but also a day for us to appreciate the values ​​of sacrifice, obedience, togetherness and sincerity in worship.

“Make this celebrated Eid as a time for us to renew our intentions and sincerity in our every practice. We hope that all our sacrifices and efforts will receive the grace and pleasure of Allah SWT, as well as strengthen our faith and piety to Him,” he said in a statement through his social media, today.

Ahmad Zahid also invited Muslims to appreciate the story of Prophet Ibrahim AS and his son, Prophet Ismail AS, about the great sacrifices that need to be made in order to fulfill the command of Allah SWT.

“This story is a manifestation of the piety of the whole family that shows the perseverance of a father, the obedience of a son and the calmness of a wife and mother in obeying the command of Allah SWT,” he said.

He also prayed for the Muslims who are performing the Hajj in the Holy Land, so that all worship and practices are accepted by Allah SWT and they return safely to their homeland with the Hajj Mabrur.

“For those who have not yet had the opportunity, may Allah SWT make it easier for them to fulfill the fifth pillar of Islam in the future,” he said.
