Zahid Hamidi, Onn Hafiz Pay Respects To Sultan Ibrahim

JOHOR BAHRU: Barisan Nasional (BN) Chairman, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi paid a courtesy call on the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Ibrahim, today.

The nearly one-hour meeting took place at Istana Pasir Pelangi here today.

Also present at the meeting was BN Johor Chairman, Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi.

Yesterday, BN secured a victory in the 16th Johor State Election, winning 48 out of the 56 Johor State Legislative Assembly seats contested.

Meanwhile, the remaining eight state seats went to Pakatan Harapan (PH).

It is understood that Onn Hafiz is set to take his oath of office as Johor Menteri Besar for a new term at Istana Bukit Serene here this afternoon.
