CARACAS: Countries around the world are racing to channel aid to earthquake-stricken Venezuela, where at least 234 victims have been confirmed dead so far. Aid was offered a day after the natural disaster struck, which has claimed more than 234 lives and injured over 1,500 others. In addition to rescue teams from the United Nations (UN), Spain and France have also sent dozens of experts. Switzerland has mobilised 80 personnel, eight sniffer dogs and 18 tonnes of equipment to be sent to Venezuela.
