Madinah Region Command Hosts Global Defence Chiefs After Completion of Hajj Pilgrimage

MADINAH: The Madinah Region Command has received international guests of the Ministry of Defence, including defence ministers, chiefs of staff, and senior army commanders, following the completion of their Hajj pilgrimage, as part of the ministry’s annual hosting and care programme for global military pilgrims.

The delegation was welcomed under a specially arranged itinerary that includes full security coordination, premium transportation services, and dedicated accommodation facilities to ensure a smooth and well-organised experience.

In cooperation with relevant government agencies, the Ministry of Defence also facilitated organised visits to the Prophet’s Mosque and Al-Rawdah Al-Sharifah, allowing the visiting military leaders to perform their prayers in a spiritually enriching environment.

The programme further includes cultural and historical tours across Madinah’s prominent Islamic landmarks. These include visits to the Uhud Martyrs’ Cemetery and the Quba Mosque, highlighting the deep religious and historical significance of the holy city.

Officials said the initiative reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to hospitality, intergovernmental engagement, and the spiritual experience of international guests during the Hajj season.
