MIXUE Malaysia Rolls Out Cold Chain Upgrade, Trains Over 1,000 Franchisees Nationwide

KUALA LUMPUR – Mixue Malaysia has begun rolling out a cold chain upgrade across West Malaysia while conducting specialised training for franchisees to improve product quality, operational standards and customer experience.

The initiative, which started in April, involves the gradual introduction of upgraded products supported by a cold chain logistics system designed to maintain ingredient freshness from source to store.

Mixue Malaysia said ingredients are flash-frozen at -35°C and transported through a controlled -18°C cold chain network as part of its 2026 quality enhancement strategy.

“We are upgrading our fruit ingredients from room-temperature storage to a full cold chain system. All these efforts are ultimately aimed at delivering a product experience of Real Ingredients, Fresh Flavors and Pure Taste to consumers,” said Teh Hwa Chun, Central Region Area Manager of Mixue Malaysia.

Among the first products under the upgraded system are “Fresh Punched Orange” and “Taro Grape Tea”, which now use frozen concentrated juice instead of room-temperature ingredients.

In parallel, the company has deployed a professional training team from its headquarters in China to conduct structured training sessions across West Malaysia.

The programme, which follows an instruction, hands-on practice, assessment and certification model, is expected to involve more than 1,000 franchisees and store representatives. Participants who complete the training will receive certification as part of standardised operational requirements.

Mixue Malaysia said the initiative is aimed at ensuring consistency in product preparation and service delivery across all outlets.

Beyond operational improvements, the company also continues its community engagement efforts through collaborations with educational institutions and welfare organisations nationwide, including universities, schools, orphanages and disability associations.

During the 2025 floods in northern Malaysia, the company also contributed more than 4,000 cups of beverages to affected communities and frontline personnel.

Mixue Malaysia said it remains committed to strengthening its local presence through long-term development and community-focused initiatives.
