RIYADH: On Wednesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan at the presidential palace in Ankara.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, Erdogan and Prince Faisal discussed their nations’ relations during the meeting.
There was also discussion of ways to improve collaboration in a way that advances security and stability for the area while serving their shared interests.
Prince Faisal had previously visited with Hakan Fidan, his Turkish equivalent.
The ministers signed a mutual exemption from visa restrictions for Saudi and Turkish holders of diplomatic and special passports.
Additionally, they co-chaired the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council’s third meeting.
According to SPA, the meeting demonstrates the two governments’ advanced ties and their dedication to enhancing coordination and collaboration in all areas to further their shared objectives.
According to SPA, the ministers emphasised the necessity of utilising both nations’ resources and competencies and investing them to obtain reciprocal benefits.
