Saudi FM Holds Talks with EU Counterpart on Regional Developments

RIYADH: Prince Faisal bin Farhan held a phone conversation on Friday with Kaja Kallas to discuss ongoing regional developments and efforts to address emerging challenges.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the discussion focused on the latest situations across the region and coordinated measures aimed at maintaining stability and security.

Kallas serves as the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, as well as Vice-President of the European Commission.

The call follows a separate meeting in Riyadh on Thursday between Prince Faisal and France’s Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot.

During that meeting, both sides reviewed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and France and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation. They also exchanged views on regional and international developments, including their broader implications for global security and stability.

The series of diplomatic engagements underscores Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to coordinate with international partners in addressing evolving geopolitical challenges.
