The event is expected to draw strong local and international attention, headlined by global Muay Thai icon Buakaw Banchamek, who will make his highly anticipated debut appearance in Malaysia.

In total, seven bouts are scheduled, featuring fighters representing Malaysia, Thailand, China, Indonesia, Cambodia, Uganda and Morocco — underscoring the tournament’s growing stature as an international Muay Thai showcase.

The headline clash will see Buakaw take on Beijing-based fighter Meng Gaofeng in a Thailand-versus-China showdown that promises fireworks.

Meng, 28, brings an impressive professional record of 45 fights with 33 wins, including nine knockouts. His accolades include titles such as the Wu Lin Feng China 2020 Champion, WLF World Champion and IPCC China Champion.

The bout is widely expected to be the highlight of the evening, offering fans a rare opportunity to witness a Muay Thai legend perform live on Malaysian soil for the very first time.
