Malaysia to Host Asia’s Largest Hair, Grooming & Beauty Expo in September

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia is set to host Southeast Asia’s biggest hair, grooming, and beauty event as three major expos, Barber Expo Asia, Salon Expo Asia, and Beauty Expo Asia 2025, unite under one roof for the first time.

The landmark event will take place from Sept 6 to 8 at the Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC), Seri Kembangan, occupying an expansive 91,000 square feet of exhibition space, four times larger than last year’s edition at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

Organizers expect between 10,000 and 15,000 visitors from more than 15 countries, with over 200 local and international brands showcasing the latest products, tools, and services in the industry.

“This is Asia’s largest one-stop platform for barbers, salon professionals, and beauty entrepreneurs,” said Retrobee Global Sdn Bhd managing director Firdaus Aziz.

The three-day event will feature the Barberlympix Asia 2025 competition, live demonstrations by global industry leaders, hands-on workshops, hair fashion shows, and educational sessions. Attendees can also enjoy stylish performances celebrating grooming artistry.

A key highlight will be The Forum Sphere, a business and career development platform featuring talks by notable speakers including Christy Ng, founder of Christy Ng Shoes; Datuk Ameer, managing director of Mydin Holdings; Ardy Damis, founder of Nimroc Barbershop; and Asyraf Kamal, founder of Kopi Saigon.

The event offers opportunities for both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) engagement, enabling brand owners, distributors, salon operators, beauty academies, and grooming enthusiasts to network and discover the latest trends.
