KUALA LUMPUR: The 118 Mall shopping destination has its own strength as a comprehensive Merdeka 118 precinct ecosystem that connects shopping, hospitality, heritage, tourism and cultural experiences in a complementary destination.

Chief Executive Officer of PNB Merdeka Ventures Sdn. Bhd. (PNBMV), Datuk Ir.Ts. (Dr) Izwan Ibrahim said that all these elements form a dynamic precinct that enables visitors to work, stay and enjoy various experiences from day to night.

“The strategic location of this shopping mall will enable it to attract various visitor groups, including tourists, luxury hotel guests, corporate professionals and the local community.

“The diversity of these visitor profiles gives us confidence in the long‑term potential that can be built together with business partners and tenants, thereby creating sustainable benefits and growth for all,” he said.

He said this in a statement in conjunction with the first‑ever 118 Mall Business Partners Assembly held recently.

The assembly gathered more than 200 business partners as well as a line‑up of brands reflecting the diversity of experiences to be offered at 118 Mall, among them the mall’s key business partners, including Village Grocer, a premium supermarket, and Makanism Foodhall.

Also present were from the fashion and lifestyle brand line‑up such as adidas, ALDO, Converse, Foot Locker, Guess, Lacoste and Benjamin Barker, CHAGEE Signature, Honolu Ramen, Masala Mansion, Donkai and Nara Thai.

In addition, 118 Mall Retail Head, Sue Wang explained that the uniqueness of 118 Mall lies in the diversity of experiences gathered under one roof.

She explained that 118 Mall is an invitation to build something new together, an invitation to explore, enjoy, be entertained and immerse oneself in the uniqueness found in Malaysia as well as at the international level.

“In the first year of operation, we expect up to 22 million visitors, driven by the unique advantages of the overall Merdeka 118 precinct ecosystem.
